Construction of two new borehole wells in Maromena and one in Ikianjasoa is about to get under way thanks to the continued generosity of Adsum supporters.
Long standing Adsum supporter, Belfast construction company Gilbert Ash, have funded two new borehole wells in the South East of Madagascar at Maromena, where over 500 people at the school and nearby village will have access to clean and safe water for the first time.
Suzanne Trew, Henry and Simon Wilson from Edinburgh have made the new well at Ikianjasoa primary school possible thanks to their generous donation, and almost 300 children and adults at the school and nearby village will benefit.
Our well teams, through our partner Feedback Madagascar/Ny Tanintsika, have already been on the ground to carry out preliminary work and it is hoped they will be up and running soon.
